PRODUCT LOVE

If your looking for great shampoo and conditioner I love Bumble and bumble. My favorite is the creme de coco. It's a mild shampoo with a blend of coconut and murumuru butters which are super moisture rich, leaving your hair soft and glistening. These butters improve hairs flexibility and minimizes frizz. The best part...it smells like a Pina Colada for your hair. Every time i wash my hair I'm whisked away to a tropical Island somewhere, it reminds me of summer all year round ! Creme de coco is also available in a conditioner which is equally as yummy.

BLUSHING BRIDES

Wedding hair tip:
Your wedding day is supposed to be one of the most memorable days of your life so naturally, you'd want to look your best and feel absolutely gorgeous. I've had a lot of clients wanting to change their hair color or add a few highlights to brighten it up and add a little flair.
My tip? If you're planning on changing your hair color for the big day (or any formal event for that matter) I suggest making an appointment with your stylist 4-6 weeks in advanced to test the color. If anything goes wrong or you absolutely can't stand the change, testing it out in advanced gives you a cushion to fix it. This will eliminate the stress of trying to find a quick fix right before the wedding which could end up costing you a lot more money or risk making the color worse.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT....OR HAIR!

I think it's safe to say that the majority of us are looking for a magical elixir that will give us beautiful, bountiful hair.  While I haven't found one yet, there are certainly plenty of products out there to help in the mean time.
Products are great and have a range of benefits but are not permanent. Good hair starts from the inside. I think the elixir we are looking for occurs in nature and everyday habits.
If your looking for glowing, strong, full, healthy beautiful hair then here is my hair elixir. (Your skin and nails will benefit from this as well)

HAIR'S TO YOUR HEALTH

The clouds are parting and the weather is warming, it's time to welcome that beautiful sunshine. As fun as it is to frolic on the beach or lounge poolside we must not forget to apply our SPF. (39% of women in the United States still don't apply sunblock at all) One of the most forgotten and neglected areas for SPF is your SCALP!!
The scalp is a common location for skin cancer. Being that it's under all your lustrous hair it can be a place most people forget to check and take care of. I know what you're thinking and NO you don't have to mess your hair with oily, greasy body block. There are many hair sun protectors. A few brands are: Shiseido SPF 16 sun Protection Spray, Banana Boat SPF 15 Hair and Scalp Protector and Kerastase Soleil Huile Celeste ( available at  kerastase-usa.com )

Remember even if the sun isn't shining you still need that SPF,  don't forget when you're having some fun in the sun re-apply often and spritz your locks with hair protection spray!

LIQUID HOT HAIR

For as long as I can remember I have been mildly obsessed with hair colors reminiscent of tropical wild flowers and volcanic eruptions.  In high school my hair consisted of a color scheme that resembled the many varieties of the Orchid. Back then it was more of a shock to see wild hair colors than it is today.
A trend I give 2 thumbs up is the ferocious reds and oranges a la Rhianna, Kat Von D and Nicki Minaj.

BLUSHING BRIDES

I love doing wedding hair, it's such an exciting day in anyone's life. The rush of getting Brides and their wedding party beautified is like no other feeling. It is chaotic, high energy , happy, hopeful and just satisfying knowing you could help make someones amazing day that much more special and beautiful.
WEDDING TIP:  Stay calm, the rush of getting ready can be intense but rest assured the glamor team you hire know what they are doing and will make it easy for you to enjoy the whole process. Schedule a consultation/practice run to make your day smoother.

These are a couple of my Brides.
